What can we do to help you get on the water?
DEMOS AND "SIT AND FITS"
By Appointment Only
Wondering which kayak might work best for you? Sit and Fits are by appointment only. If you only need a few minutes of our time there is no charge, but you must make an appointment. Demos including a test paddle, run $105 minimum. Typically a demo takes two hours or more, including a brief Sit and Fit at the boat barn and then load, transport, and a 1 to 2 hour test paddle at the nearest launch. Fees spent on a Demo will be credited towards a boat purchase if made within 30 days of the demo.

Pricing structure:
Half-day private lesson, 1 person, $195.00
Half-day semi-private, 2 people, $250.00
Rolling lesson, 2 hours, $250.00
Randi's daily rate for your event contract $500.00
Local travel fee, $50.00
Travel out of the area $.62/mile
Loaner boats and equipment starts at $55/day. We do NOT rent equipment, only loan during classes.
My local launch is Marshall Hall Landing. This is where I prefer to meet for private lessons. No travel fee involved!
Detailing? Yes! Make an appointment to leave your boat with us for 48 hours. Pick it back up after a good wash, buff, and wax. Nothing like that shiny boat feeling. $150 to $250, quote given on drop off.
Skeg wire KINKED? Need a new skeg wire? We can do that. Make an appointment. $125 includes replacement wire.
Hatch cover tie downs, yes! In most cases I can help you with this while you wait. By appointment. $50 for all three hatches, including supplies. New hatch covers available, SKUK-NDK OEM, as well as Whetman's.
Whetman Attic install, yes indeed! Make an appointment. In most cases it's best to leave the boat with us for 24 hours as the adhesive is temperature dependent. Attic $32, install $50, includes epoxy and supplies.
New Gaskets for your drysuit? Yes we can do new gaskets on your drysuit. Contact us to arrange. We need to know your preferred size, etc, so that we have the supplies on hand before we start the project. In most cases we can finish something like that in just a few days. $175 for wrists and neck.
